Our Policies

  • In the event that an appointment is canceled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours' notice or in the case of a no-show, a cancellation fee will be applied. Patients with a canceled or missed appointment will be required to settle the cancellation fee prior to scheduling another appointment. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us as soon as possible to discuss any special circumstances.

  • Whenever possible, our office will facilitate direct billing to your insurance company for the services rendered. While we work to streamline this process, it's important to note that you are responsible for the portion of the service or percentage that is not covered by your insurance plan.

    For patients seeking a clear understanding of costs before services are provided, our office offers a complimentary predetermination service. We can send a predetermination to your insurance provider, providing you with detailed information on what exactly is covered. This service helps you make informed decisions about your dental care.

Collected solely for the purpose of delivering quality dental care, your data is treated with the utmost confidentiality and accessed only by authorized personnel. We employ stringent security measures to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure. Third-party engagements adhere to similar privacy standards, and your information is retained only for as long as necessary. You have the right to access and correct your information, and we commit to keeping you informed of any policy updates.     Dentists adhere to the guidelines established by PHIPA and the relevant standards outlined by the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO). PHIPA is applicable to all healthcare professionals who handle patients' personal information. Enacted in 2004, PHIPA aims to safeguard the privacy of sensitive patient health information, enabling medical professionals to share necessary details for providing care and treatment while upholding strict privacy standards.

  • To ensure transparency and fairness, our office adheres to the Ontario Dental Association fee guide for general practitioners. This means that our fees align with the standard practices recommended by the dental profession in Ontario.
